DENGUE FEVER AWARENESS SESSION (26/11/2024)
Khawaja Sira Society Sheikhupura site organized an awareness session to address the growing concern of Dengue fever. The session was facilitated by a district representative officer from the Health Department of Sheikhupura. The goal was to educate KSS staff and the transgender community on preventive measures to control the spread of Dengue. Participants received information on how to protect themselves, reduce mosquito breeding sites, and take necessary precautions to prevent the disease. This initiative aimed to empower the community with knowledge ensuring their health and well-being are safeguarded.
SMOG, HEALTH CONCERNS (18/11/2024)
Nowadays a major health concern affecting breathing, skin, mental well-being and overall quality of life. SMOG is more than just haze, affecting Lahore and nearby areas. Kasur team has organized an awareness session on SMOG.
Smog isn’t just an environmental issue; it impacts respiratory health, increases allergy symptoms, and can worsen conditions like asthma, especially for those with higher exposure risks. The session provided a safe space to learn about these impacts, offer practical steps to reduce exposure, and share valuable information for improving indoor air quality and preventions.
