Fueling Hope: Motivational Sessions for Khawaja Sira Empowerment through Skills

Under the compassionate leadership of our Director, Khawaja Sira Society (KSS) held a transformative motivational session in Faislabad, as part of the Chief Minister (Maryam Nawaz) Skilled Punjab Initiative in collaboration with Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF). The session aimed to ignite self-worth, confidence, and hope, encouraging Khawaja Sira and transgender individuals to explore vocational training opportunities and take charge of their economic future.

National Human Rights Conferenc 2024

Inspiring Change and Empowering Humanity National Human Rights Conference 2024 Advancing Human Rights for All The conference concluded with inspiring remarks by Chief Guest Mr. Ramesh Singh,Minister Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Department, Government of the Punjab, and Mr. Nadeem Ashraf. Ms. Mahnoor and Ms. Bubbli warmly welcomed the chief guest, who spoke about government initiatives that include minorities and highlighted the collaborative efforts that made the conference a success. The conference embodied the spirit of inclusivity, collaboration, and advocacy, reaffirming the commitment to empower communities and safeguard human rights for all. Together, we continue to inspire change and build a more just and equitable society. At the conference's conclusion, Director-KSS Ms. Mahnoor and Master of Ceremony Ms. Sunny were acknowledged by Chief Guest Mr. Ramesh Singh, Minister for Minority Affairs.

Call For Application

Khawaja Sira Society and Saathi Foundation with the collaboration of each other is organizing 5 to 6 days workshop and exposure program in northern areas which is specifically designed based on the direct need of beneficiaries. It will result in deeper understanding of the young role models from community and their issues that they want to address, and development of core skills like (Leadership, Conflict management, communication) necessary for lobbying & advocacy. It will bring youth community activists with diverse opinions on a common table and hence bring harmony to the broader movement and avoid intra-community conflict. And the engagement of the youth in current movement will undo the stereotypical image of young transgender and highlight the diversity of the Pakistani marginalized/transgender community..

COVID-19 Vaccination

Advocacy meetings was done by KSS with the health department and realized the health department that the right of health is TG’s basic human right and should not be neglected at any cost and COVID-19 vaccination is the need of hour for vulnerable transgender community. and we convinced the health ministry and upgraded our safe space where community got vaccinated (COVID-19) without any stigma & discrimination

signed MOU With Rahnuma Group

Director Programme of Khawaja Sira Society had a detailed meeting with Rahnuma FPAP Youth Group Badin Sindh director and agreed to work with collaboration and signed MOU and expanded services for transgender community regarding detailed SRHR services including awareness, mental health services and hormonal replacement therapy services.

Meeting with Al-Khidmat Foundation

Khawaja sira society believes in collaboration as it sustain the movement building. We had a very interactive discussion with dr mushtsq mangat Al-Khidmat Foundation Punjab [Official] and yasir iltaf Cheif programme officer Dilawar Hussain Foundation to take some initiative for transgender community and decided for provide some welfare scheme and health scheme for community. And our director Programme was received an acknowledgement for the work she has done for community.

Advocacy meeting with Allama Iqbal Open University Officials

KSS belive in making alliance by doing advocacy with key stakeholder to open up space for community to ensure the accessibility of human rights. We also had a valuable meeting with Iman ullah Malik- regional director Allama Iqbal Open University Officials and with Dr Uzma- deputy regional director they offered to provide free education to transgender community from Matric till PHD and they are willing to make this opportunity accessible by reducing the barrier. Soon educational rights will be easily accessible for community
